Mohs for Basal Cell Carcinoma Under Eye

Our patient presented with an area of concern beneath his lower eye lid. Biopsy result revealed Basal Cell Carcinoma. He was scheduled promptly for Mohs Surgery to remove the tissue with cancer, in our office, by our Mohs surgeon, Dr. Evans. One week post-operatively healing progress was evaluated, sutures were ready to be removed. As with all our patients with skin cancer, we see them regularly to follow up and evaluate their skin health and skin cancer risk. Over the two year period since surgery, our patient has been fortunate with no other sites of significant concern developing and his scar from Mohs surgery has healed beautifully, becoming imperceptible.
